I spent a long time looking for the right way to be human.

I have always been curious about the large questions.

Who am I beneath everything I have learned to be?

What makes a life worth living?

What is consciousness?

Why do we repeat things we know don’t serve us?

What is our true nature and purpose?

I didn't explore these questions from a distance.

I went into them.

I have lived inside many different answers.

At different times in my life I deliberately immersed myself in very different ways of understanding what a human being is — spiritual, psychological, somatic, practical and unconventional.

Some of those worlds disagreed profoundly with one another.

Rather than dismiss one because another told me it was wrong, I wanted to understand each from the inside: what it could see, what it couldn't, what genuinely worked, and what happened when I actually lived by it.

For a while, each new world could feel like the answer.

Over time, something changed.

After living inside enough boxes, I became less interested in finding the right one.

I began to recognise the boxes themselves.

My own life has not been lived from a safe distance.

I know what it is to lose myself in other people's expectations, to believe there was something fundamentally wrong with me, to go through addiction, heartbreak, financial hardship, confusion about who I was, and periods of living in ways that did not truly fit me.

I have also known demanding physical work, starting again with very little, being misunderstood, and having to find my own ground after giving too much authority to other people's certainty.

All of that has made me less interested in judging human experience and more able to meet it as it is.

You do not have to become easier to understand before you come here.

I didn't stop caring about truth. I stopped treating it as the purpose of being alive.

For years I searched deeply — through teachings, practices, psychology, spirituality and different systems of understanding what a human being is.

After enough of them, I began seeing the principles underneath the systems: what genuinely helped, what was only part of the picture, and when an idea had become more important than the person it was meant to serve.

But something deeper was changing too.

I had spent enormous energy asking what was true, what needed healing, what I should become and how I could finally get myself right.

Eventually another question became more important.

How do I care for the life that I am?

What nourishes it?

What helps it grow, connect, create, explore and thrive?

What strengthens it rather than diminishes it?

What is genuinely mine to live?

I began to see life less as something I had to perfect, and more as something I could learn to support.

I began learning how to be on my own side — while still seeing myself clearly.

That changed the way I understood myself.

And, eventually, the way I understood other people too.

I don't think most people are broken.

Human beings absorb enormous amounts from the world around them.

We learn what love should be.

What success should be.

What we are allowed to want.

What makes us good or bad.

How much of ourselves is safe to express.

How relationships are supposed to work.

And long before we are old enough to examine any of it, much of this has already become part of the inner structure through which we experience life.

Some of it serves us beautifully.

Some of it doesn't.

And different parts of us may end up pulling in completely different directions.

What looks like a broken person can sometimes be a perfectly understandable human being organised around beliefs, adaptations and ways of living that no longer belong in the life they are trying to create.

That can change.

I trust the living person more than any theory about them.

There is something underneath all the conditioning that continues to move toward life — toward expression, connection, curiosity, creation and greater freedom.

I don't assume that every thought, feeling or impulse is truth simply because it appears.

Part of the work is learning to distinguish what is genuinely yours from what has been learned, inherited, feared or adapted to — and discovering what actually nourishes the life you are living.

I have also become wary of change that only works while we keep forcing it.

If I have to constantly police myself, repeat the right words, fight myself back into alignment or keep patching the same place, I don't consider that the deepest kind of change available.

The changes I trust most are the ones that become increasingly natural to live because something underneath has genuinely shifted — or because the new way of living actually fits the person who has to live it.

My role isn't to decide what that life should look like.

It is to help you become more able to recognise and support it.

What I bring to the work

My background includes university studies in psychology and many years of further exploration and training across humanistic approaches, coaching, NLP, EFT, somatic and nervous-system work, memory reconsolidation, meditation, spirituality and other approaches to personal change.

I have spent many years both learning these approaches and experiencing different forms of personal work from the inside.

But I no longer think the value lies in accumulating methods.

The value is understanding the person in front of me well enough to recognise what may actually help.

The person comes before the method.

Human being first.

I don't want to replace one box with another.

I don't want to make you more convenient, more compliant, or a more polished version of what somebody else thinks a person should be.

I want to help you become more available to your own life.

To recognise what nourishes it.

What diminishes it.

What is genuinely yours.

What you learned to carry.

And where you now have the freedom to choose differently.

Because what lasts is rarely something we can force ourselves to perform forever. It has to become possible to live from within.

I don't need your life to fit a theory.

I'd rather understand what is true for you.
